(2) During the whole of the year ended 31 March 2009 the ultimate parent company, The BSS Group plc, irrevocably guaranteed the liabilities of its Republic of Ireland subsidiary, BSS (Ireland) Ltd, thus enabling exemption by BSS (Ireland) Ltd from filing its annual accounts under the provisions of the Irish Companies (Amendment) Act 1986.

(3) Companies which are dormant or whose activities are insignificant to the Group have been excluded from the above table.
